What a great show! Mosh pits, stage diving, crowd surfing, and only the best shenanigans! I haven't had time to collect photos yet, but they'll be added to this post as they come in.
I gotta say, when JP told us that Fallen Theory was "Pretty Good," I had no idea he was bringing the heat! I see nothing but good things for our local boys, and we will definitely be seeing more of them in the future.
A special big thanks to Sick Puppies and Devour the Day for taking time off of the Skillet Tour to come get crazy with us. Not only does Devour the Day continue to fully live up to their name, but they have the ability to transfer that sort of urgent confidence to the crowd. "If you got it, now's the time to show it! If you don't have it, get up and find it!"
I have a feeling the Sick Puppies had to reel things back a little, since every song they performed had the lovely effect of emboldening the mosh pit more and more. At one point, they even addressed the crowd. "You, yes, you! Stay right there! Okay, everybody from here to here..., let's keep the mosh pit right about HERE. Okay? Go crazy, just leave the people in the front rows alone. Okay? Alright, let's rock."
Thanks go out to everybody involved. As always, these shows are a group effort that is always worth it. Until we meet again at our next exciting event, keep it tuned to this website for the pictures and videos of this event.
